In your own words can you tell us about what you do?
I design jewellery and am also currently working on some clothing pieces. Baby Alec playing on IN BED linen duvet set in Dove grey
Can you share with us some of your fondest childhood memories?
I was always making crafts and using my hands, living my most authentic self. I grew up surrounded by nature, waking from my bed and then running to the lake with my siblings as we chased frogs. These memories always feels grounding and make me nostalgic.
Do you have a favourite smell?
I am very sensitive to scents so I appreciate anything earthy; the smell of wood, rain, a salty breeze - the fundamental.

What kind of a space have you tried to create at home?
I live here with my partner, our one year old son Alec. We have made our home a sanctuary that feels authentic to our lifestyle, with intention and detail. We keep treasures from my grandmother, mamá and dear friends. It feels like having them here!
Do you have a morning routine? We have slow mornings. Meditating and then going back to sleep before my child wakes. Opening the windows, burning copal incense and writing my intentions for the day. Feeding Alec when he wakes, drinking water with ACV whilst making our daily tonic before breakfast. I would describe it as our little composed rituals that nourish our wellbeing.
A bedtime routine?
Making dinner as a family, we´ll settle Alec to sleep afterwards. I will then indulge in self care, a long bath followed by my skincare routine. I am a night person, and so reading and answering emails before bed is also part of it.
Where did you grow up? What are some of the things you love about living in your neighbourhood in Mexico City?
I grew up in Texas, and currently live in Mexico City. It can, at times, feel overwhelming living here but I have learned to appreciate it. The warmth of my culture, our amazing and fresh foods make up for the sometimes chaotic city. Our neighbourhood is uphill and surrounded by nature, the air feels fresher. Living close to a national park is definitely calming.

What are some of the objects in your home that bring you joy?
Alec was gifted a ceramic bird at the age of three months by an artist while we were travelling, "always remember to live free" he said when he gave it to us. A blown glass pitcher that I use to water our plants also makes me content, I look forward to watering them each week.
What are you prioritising this year? What feels the most important at this point in your life?
I am prioritising being present with my son and partner. Always working on bettering myself and not taking a day for granted. See more from Alexa here. SaveSave
