We work with a trusted network of independently certified factories. This ensures that the standards set for our products and for the people entrusted to make them are consistent, ethical and exceedingly high.

We work with several factories situated in Europe & Asia. You can find details of each factory we work with, what they produce for us and specific certifications each hold on our Supply Partners page.

We work exclusively with high quality, fully traceable & natural materials across all of our collections. We find these fabrics are not only the most beautiful to create with, but also the most gentle on the environment. We think deeply about every part of our production process; from raw materials to the packaging your purchase arrives in. All of our packaging is made with natural, reusable or recyclable fabrics. Explore our Packaging Index for an in depth look at the packaging we choose to work with and why.

We work closely with our suppliers to carefully forecast our needs and make only enough product to meet these needs. All of our products are designed to be timeless in the hope that the user will love our pieces for years to come and not tire of, or disregard. 

Any small quantity of disused or faulty stock is kept for our annual warehouse sale or donated to our charity partners. For rare cases where items are not suitable for sale or have been well-loved over time and returned through our Back IN BED program we partner with Textile Recyclers Australia to recycle these pieces into new yarn.

Quality is paramount in the production of IN BED pieces, and each item we produce is created with longevity in mind. Our confidence in them is such that we offer a 2-year guarantee. This guarantee ensures that any item failing to meet our stringent production standards within this timeframe will be repaired or replaced. Review our full T&C’s for this policy.

We believe in the importance and value of being diverse and inclusive in every facet of our business. We have committed to building on a series of initiatives and measures that will ensure we are being actively and consistently inclusive at every level. We began the process of B Corp Certification in early 2021, it took us over a year to complete, becoming certified in 2022. Being a B Corp certified business is a way to hold ourselves accountable, to measure our current impact and to put in place the structures to be able to continue to grow our business in the most sustainable, transparent and ethical way we can. IN BED has a longstanding partnership with Women’s Community Shelters (WCS) in Australia to support vulnerable women and children in need. WCS do important work with local communities to establish new shelters for women and children escaping domestic violence, family violence, and homelessness across New South Wales. 

In addition to our work with WCS, we actively encourage our small team to get involved with charitable causes close to their hearts by offering paid time off to volunteer. As a business we also give regularly to a handful of causes we resonate with. Learn more.
