IN BED products are carefully sourced from all corners of the globe. We aim to create thoughtful essentials for everyday life and produce wares that our customers can live in and love for years to come.

We use only high quality, natural fibres and fabrics, always ensuring with our producers that ethical practices are maintained. We work closely with and visit all of our suppliers and factories, at least annually, to make certain that standards for our products (and those who make them) are consistent and exceedingly high.

Flax for our linen originates in Western Europe; France, Belgium and the Netherlands, where it is grown and harvested. After harvest it is then woven and made into IN BED products at one of two factories we work with, one in Guimarães, Portugal (for our IN BED branded bed linen) and the other in Shenzhen, China (for our sleepwear, kitchen linen & IN BED x Triibe collaboration colours)

The majority of our bed linen is now made in Guimarães, Portugal in a factory that has a special interest in textiles innovation, research and development. The country has a strong history of high end, quality linen and clothing manufacturing, and we’ve worked closely with our partners here to maintain the soft IN BED hand-feel signature to our linen, that is achieved by using a certain mechanical stone-wash finish, which also consumes much less water than a traditional enzyme wash.

The factory we work with in Shenzhen specialises in high-quality flax linen products and take great care and pride in producing an exemplary product. They export linen fabric and goods to high-end brands in Switzerland, Italy, the U.S. and more, producing a linen of exceptional quality.

Our percale bedding is made from 100% cotton in a family-run factory in Guimarães, Portugal which has been operating since the 1940s and specialises in premium cotton bedding.

In both 200 & 400 thread count percale cotton, IN BED cotton sheets are closely woven to be smooth, light and breathable, making them ideal for warmer seasons and balmy climates.

Our cashmere originates in Mongolia and is woven into the yarn that makes our cashmere pieces in Shanghai, China. Our factory employs approximately 500 people between Mongolia and Shanghai. They concentrate on producing exemplary cashmere products, supplying to well known fashion houses and lifestyle brands all over the globe. All dyes and washing processes at our factory are eco-friendly and the water is treated after these processes.

Egyptian Cotton Bath towels

Our cotton towels are made from certified 100% Egyptian combed cotton in Denizli, Turkey, an area with a strong heritage of manufacturing luxurious bath linens.

The family-owned factory we work with has been trading for over 30 years and complies with a strict set of standards & certifications.

They are a fully integrated business handling all aspects of production from yarn spinning to finishing.

Cotton from Egypt is one of the most luxurious cottons in the world offering long and regular fibres which give our towels an exceptional softness, durability and colour brightness.

Organic Cushions

Our Organic cushions are made in New Delhi, India. The small factory where our cushions are made is certified Oekotex and GOTS, ensuring all products are beautifully manufactured from Organic fabrics.

A Word On Our Packaging

We are conscious of excess packaging and the impact this has on the environment.  This is why we aim to always use packaging made with natural, reusable or recyclable fabrics (such as our linen & cotton drawstring bags or our cardboard cotton bedding) and avoid individual use plastic poly-bags. In rare cases poly-bag use is unavoidable, we opt for EPI Poly-bag, made with degradable plastic.

Our linen & cotton bags are great to reuse for storing items, sorting socks & underwear and are especially great to help you organise different categories when packing.

If you do not have any need for your linen bags and would like to return them for reuse by IN BED you are more than welcome to return them to us in store at: 72b Oxford St, Paddington NSW 2021 either in person or by post.

If you would like further information on any of our products or practises, please get in touch with us at – We’d love to hear from you.
