Our core linen bedding is made from 100% certified European Flax. Grown in Europe and spun and woven by a centuries old linen house from Italy, it is then sewn, dyed and finished with our factory in Portugal.

Linen duvet features self fabric tie closures

We use only high quality, natural fibres and fabrics as, along with being the most beautiful, they are the most environmentally friendly.

Natural fibres are biodegradable and ensure micro plastics are not released when products are washed.

All factories we work with sign our Supplier Code of Conduct & hold specific certifications relevant to each country that ensure workers are treated and paid a living wage, as well as adhering to a strict set of environmental & social best practises.

We work with animal products sparingly and when we do we ensure they come only from unmuesled animals.

Our linen is mechanically softened with volcanic stones rather than harsh chemicals.

All our textile products are dyed using eco friendly products containing no harmful substances.

This certification ensures the flax growers and traders follow environmental best practice, and it guarantees a high level of traceability and accountability through each stage of production including:

No irrigation, no GMO & zero waste.
Mechanical scutching (ensuring zero chemicals are used in this process)

Our products which carry the STANDARD 100 label ensure every component of this article (every thread, button and other accessories) has been tested for harmful substances and that the product is therefore completely safe & toxic free.

Wash prior to use

Warm gentle machine wash with like colours

Line dry where possible otherwise tumble dry on low setting (ensure you do not use a high/hot setting as this will damage the fibre)

Wash separately or with similar fabrics (do not mix with towels or other items likely to leave lint)

Do not bleach or dry Clean

Do not leave sheets on the clothesline or in direct sun for a prolonged period as natural fibres are susceptible to sun bleaching

Change your sheets regularly (we recommend every 1-2 weeks)

Avoid direct contact with cosmetics or skin products not properly dried on skin (such as hair or body oil, heavy creams and especially specific acne treatment which may include peroxide or other bleaching properties)

Do not wash with sharp-edged clothing accessories, such as metal zipper, buttons, metal hooks

To ensure longevity we recommend rotating your sheets with 1 or 2 other sets

    Divine colour

    The colour is perfect and is what sold me on this bed linen: it’s richly dark, without favouring a green or blue undertone, yet not so harsh as a true black. Exactly what I wanted. They really nailed the hue. Quality is really good from a few months of use now and no colour washout experienced.

    The hues just hit differently

    After purchasing two sets of linen quilt covers (grey/white stripe and Kohl) and having had them for a couple months now, I am absolutely loving them. I reach for them every week when changing the sheets. The quality is divine and the hues are just perfect. I had compared samples to a few other competitors but in the end the hues are what sold me on IN BED bed linen, and I have not been disappointed. I am now very much tempted to get another (third) set whilst they are on sale. I'm glad such nice bedlinen exists! I have had no issues with washing and no colour washout etc.

    Best sleep!

    I am obsessed with this Doona cover! I purchased the Cream bedding set and had to buy the green as well as i never want to take it off my bed! That perfect crisp cotton feeling. as good as a 5 star hotel!
