At their home in Oslo, warm wood, natural light, and crushed white linens abound -  just as their thoughtful (yet minimal) ornaments add whimsy and personality. It is also a space that is flexible to the demands of family life: revolving artwork and a Togo sofa that finds a new home weekly.

Tess Guinery, Murwillumbah

While the arrival of twin daughters might turn one's life upside down, artist, poet & ex-dancer and choreographer Tess Guinery embraced the change with open arms.  Captured here under the haze of film, we were lucky enough to catch a glimmer of the world she shares with love-of-her-life Caleb, three daughters, goldfish & two bunnies, Sunrise and Sugar & Sherbert. Having lived in locations far and wide, for now her home and studio (a self described rabbit warren) lies in the idiosyncratic town of Murwillumbah, a place that has afforded, in her own words ‘a season of rest and restoration’.

Mother to Forbes, Imogene's motto is simply put: go with the flow. Residing in the suburb of Centennial Park with her husband & son, the walls of her diminutive apartment have not capped this stylist's creativity. Instead, it serves as a gallery for her most cherished objects - which surprisingly remain untouched by the hands of her littlest housemate. Perhaps this is owed to her laid-back attitude...

Situated in the ‘little village’ of Coburg, Melbourne the trio frequent local parks and eateries in equal measure - embracing their multi-generational and diverse local community.

Living in Sydney’s South Cronulla has brought them and their two children closer to loved ones, while punctuating their day with familial rituals; morning swims and bayside visits to watch the sun set.

Sophena Kwon, Vancouver

Designer & natural dyer, Sophena Kwon has spent the last ten years living on a boat moored in Vancouver, Canada while running textile business Maiwa, started by her mother in the 1980s. Time has seen her become a mother herself, raising her brood Boden & Calico aboard and experiencing the many seasons that come with parenthood, a role she shares with husband Kristyn. When dry land calls their name, the young family share their time in an off grid cabin, Moonshine Kingdom less than an hour away by boat.
