I’m a complete linen addict and have tried well over 10 premium linen brands over the years, including Cultiver, so I’m probably more particular than most when it comes to weight, texture, construction and how linen actually holds up after washing. IN BED is easily in my top two.
I originally bought the Kohl duvet cover and pillowcases for my partner, who has always insisted that “sheets are sheets.” He’s an athlete and runs very hot at night, but since sleeping in this linen he’s actually noticed that he doesn’t wake up sweaty anymore - and now specifically asks for his linen duvet. Safe to say, I’ve converted him. 😂
The quality is outstanding. Compared with a lot of luxury linen I’ve owned, including Cultiver, IN BED feels more substantial and higher quality to me. The heavier GSM gives it a beautiful weight without making it feel hot, and what I really appreciate is how well it keeps its shape after washing. Some linen can start looking tired surprisingly quickly, whereas this still feels structured, substantial and beautifully made.
And the colour is PERFECT. I was slightly worried Kohl might have a warm or brown undertone in person, but it doesn’t at all - it’s a gorgeous deep, cool charcoal and exactly what I was hoping for.
