Our core linen bedding is made from 100% certified European Flax. Grown in Europe and spun and woven by a centuries old linen house from Italy, it is then sewn, dyed and finished with our factory in Portugal.

IN BED linen duvets and pillowslips are crafted in Europe, the duvet features a tie closure.
Linen pillowslips come in a set of two and feature an envelope closure at the back.

We use only high quality, natural fibres and fabrics as, along with being the most beautiful, they are the most environmentally friendly.

Natural fibres are biodegradable and ensure micro plastics are not released when products are washed.

All factories we work with sign our Supplier Code of Conduct & hold specific certifications relevant to each country that ensure workers are treated and paid a living wage, as well as adhering to a strict set of environmental & social best practises.

We work with animal products sparingly and when we do we ensure they come only from unmuesled animals.

Our linen is mechanically softened with volcanic stones rather than harsh chemicals.

All our textile products are dyed using eco friendly products containing no harmful substances.

Made in Portugal from 100% Linen

Wash prior to use

Warm gentle machine wash with like colours

Line dry where possible otherwise tumble dry on low setting (ensure you do not use a high/hot setting as this will damage the fibre)

Wash separately or with similar fabrics (do not mix with towels or other items likely to leave lint)

Do not bleach or dry Clean

Do not leave sheets on the clothesline or in direct sun for a prolonged period as natural fibres are susceptible to sun bleaching

Change your sheets regularly (we recommend every 1-2 weeks)

Avoid direct contact with cosmetics or skin products not properly dried on skin (such as hair or body oil, heavy creams and especially specific acne treatment which may include peroxide or other bleaching properties)

Do not wash with sharp-edged clothing accessories, such as metal zipper, buttons, metal hooks

To ensure longevity we recommend rotating your sheets with 1 or 2 other sets

    The quality you notice after washing

    I bought the Kohl pillowcases to match the duvet cover and they’ve confirmed why IN BED has become one of my top two linen brands after trying more than 10 premium brands over the years.

    What stands out most to me is the substantial feel and how beautifully the linen holds its shape after washing. I’ve owned much more expensive linen that started looking tired surprisingly quickly, whereas these still feel structured, weighty and genuinely luxurious.

    Kohl is also such a perfect colour. I’m very particular about cool tones and was worried it might lean warm or brown, but it doesn’t at all - it’s a gorgeous deep charcoal that works beautifully with my other cool greys.

    Beautiful quality, beautiful colour, and now I just need Dove to come back in stock. 😂

    Apparently “sheets are sheets” was a lie 😂

    I’m a complete linen addict and have tried well over 10 premium linen brands over the years, including Cultiver, so I’m probably more particular than most when it comes to weight, texture, construction and how linen actually holds up after washing. IN BED is easily in my top two.

    I originally bought the Kohl duvet cover and pillowcases for my partner, who has always insisted that “sheets are sheets.” He’s an athlete and runs very hot at night, but since sleeping in this linen he’s actually noticed that he doesn’t wake up sweaty anymore - and now specifically asks for his linen duvet. Safe to say, I’ve converted him. 😂

    The quality is outstanding. Compared with a lot of luxury linen I’ve owned, including Cultiver, IN BED feels more substantial and higher quality to me. The heavier GSM gives it a beautiful weight without making it feel hot, and what I really appreciate is how well it keeps its shape after washing. Some linen can start looking tired surprisingly quickly, whereas this still feels structured, substantial and beautifully made.

    And the colour is PERFECT. I was slightly worried Kohl might have a warm or brown undertone in person, but it doesn’t at all - it’s a gorgeous deep, cool charcoal and exactly what I was hoping for.

    What originally made me try IN BED was actually their marketing - particularly a piece about the things they would never compromise on as a brand. Between that, learning where and how their linen is made, and reading the incredible reviews,…
